DPEC Global Training is operated by Tidewater Dynamic Positioning Excellence Committee (DPEC)
DPEC is made up of all Tidewater DP Supervisors that work activate offshore large fleet of deep water Offshore Support Vessels.
DPEC works closely with the Nautical Institute and the Chairman DPEC / Global Chief Instructor is a member of Nautical Institute DP Training Executive Group and the technical advisor for the International Support Vessel Owners Association.
DPEC provide support to the Nautical Institute (free of charge) as part of DPEC commitment to improve safe DP operations for all companies and all Charterer.
DPEC approved and recommended, Nautical Institute accredited Training Centers:
A DPEC group discount of 5% apply to any courses that are books via this website at any of the following Training Centers. The 5% discount apply after any discount course fees offered at any of the DPEC approved training centers.

- Tidewater DPEC and Wartsila Training and Assessment Center – Amelia (New Orleans), USA
- Nautica Maritime Training and Assessment Center – Manila, Philippines
Level A Training Centers:
- Centers use DPEC training materials
- Instructors are competency assessed by DPEC
- Centers have been audited by DPEC
Level B Training Centers
- Apave Mare Training Center – Split, Croatia / Center currently under DPEC review
- Wartsila Training center – Singapore / Center currently under DPEC review
- Wartsila Training center – Rio De Janeiro, Brazil / Center currently under DPEC review
Level B Training Centers:
- Centers training materials have been reviewed by DPEC / any new updates of training materials is reviewed by DPEC
- Instructors are competency assessed by DPEC
- Centers have been audited by DPEC
